March 2010
March is Food Drive Month at Curves!!
We are collecting non-perishable food for the Food Bank of Contra Costa & Solano Counties and are taking cash donations for Loaves & Fishes. If you want to join, we'll waive your sign up fee this month in exchange for your generous donation!
December 2009/January 2010
Members collected diapers for distribution by Brighter Beginnings.

Members collected toys for distribution to Antioch youth.
The first barrel of toys were taken to Grannies Annonymous. They distribute new, unwrapped toys to parents at the fairgrounds on the 2nd Sat of December and also allow the parents to make selections from gently used toys. They prefer children not attend, so they have their surprise on Christmas morning!
The 2nd barrel of toys were distributed by the Community Outreach program of Golden Hills Church.
November 2009
Members collected non-perishable food and frozen turkeys
for distribution in Antioch.
October 2009
Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Sign up fees were waived in exchange for a
donation to the American Cancer Society.
September 2009
Members collected old towels, blankets, and other items of use to the Antioch Animal Shelter, as well as donating cash from change collected during the month to Friends of Animal Services. Curves also provided a gift membership for the silent auction held at the annual Black Cat Ball in October.
August 2009
Members donated classroom supplies
for a Kimball Elementary Kindergarten Class.
